If you shed tears when you miss the sun,

You also miss the stars.

如果你因為錯失太陽而流淚

那麼你也將錯失繁星

It is the tears of the earth

That keep her smiles in bloom.

正是大地的淚水

使她常保笑容燦爛

That I exist is  perpetual surprise which is life.

我的存在是一個永恆的驚喜

這就是人生

The light that plays, like a naked child,

Among the green leaves happily knows not

That man can lie

陽光猶如一個赤裸的小孩

在綠葉間快樂的玩耍

而不知道世間的偽詐

The grass seeks her crowd in the earth

The tree seeks his solitude of the sky.

小草在陸地尋找夥伴;

大樹向天空追求幽靜

The poet wind is out over the sea

And the forest

To seek his own voice.

詩人的風越過海洋

越過森林

只為尋找自己的聲音

The cloud stood humbly in a corner of the sky.

The morning crowned it with splendour.

雲兒謙卑地站在天之一角

晨曦以彩光來為它加冕

I cast my own shadow upon my path,

Because I have a lamp that has not been lighted.

我將自己的影子投射在前方

因為我有一盞尚未點燃的明燈

The sun has his simple robe of light,

The clouds are decked with gorgeousness.

太陽只有一襲樸素的光袍

雲朵卻穿著華麗的彩裝

The grass-blade is worthy

Of the great world where it grows.

即使一片草葉

也值得

生長在這偉大的世界上

Not hammer-strokes, but dance of the water sings

The pebbles into perfection.

是流水的舞動,而非榔頭的敲擊

將溪中的卵石,塑成完美形體

Thoughts pass in my mind like flocks of ducks

in the sky.

I hear the voice of their wings.

思想掠過心頭,有如雁群飛越天際

我聽見牠們振翅的翼聲

I am the autumn cloud, empty of rain,

See my fullness in the field of ripened rice.

我是秋日裡無雨的雲

在金黃的稻田裡

看見自己的豐盈

I am like the road in the night listening to

the footfalls of its memories in silence.

我彷似夜裡的路, 在寂靜中傾聽著

回憶的腳步聲

剛冒出頭的春陽

照著一片金黃燦爛的油菜田

我的心拒絕傷悲

走入陽光裡

就走進了一季春色

鳥兒成群揚起

伴著幽靜的午后小徑

這樣的光輝

漸次金亮

讓路過的我們

忍不住

留下這春的呢喃

好久好久

思念著就這一片金黃
